RF Application Engineer
The RF Application engineer is in charge to give HW and RF design support on I
cera modem to designated customers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To diagnose problems with customers HW and RF designs and troubleshoot custom
er issues To liaise with the customer through email, conference calls and regu
lar visits Developing direct customer relationships to provide recommendations
and feedback on new features and requirements To provide the technical conten
t for RFI/RFQs To develop compliance statements against industrial standards e
.g. operator specifications, 3GPP Provision of technical training Development
of technical support materials including customer specific documentation To re
present the customer from a technical viewpoint facing internal development te
ams.
Support customer in HW-bringups of their respective products Review customer d
esigns. E.g. schematic review, PCB review Support customer on test and calibra
tion for mass production To feedback issues and work closely with core enginee
ring teams to solve customer system issues Provides direct support for Icera c
ustomer project management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MS in Electrical Engineering
In addition to a solid technical background excellent communications skills in
English are mandatory. The candidate must be able to follow an English conver
sation, as also give answer to technical questions in English.
At least 5 years relevant experience
Direct experience in mobile communications air interfaces would be a necessity
.
Direct experience in RF design as also RF test and calibration would be a nece
ssity.
Highly proactive, professional communicator.
Experience in an applications, design consulting or technical customer support
role Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
