Job Purpose:
Design, develop and maintain Linux BSP (kernel and user space components) and Android platforms on ARM (Cortex-A9 series and above) based SoCs and prepare related documents.
Participate in open source development practices of code/design reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Linux/Android BSP for CSR’s SOC.
• Work with test team to resolve software bugs
• Work with other team to resolve customer issues
• Help in the SOC prototyping verification and development work.
• Documentation of the software modules developed.
Required:
• MS degree or higher in CS, CE or EE.
• Expert knowledge of Linux Kernel: device driver, file systems.
• Strong C programming skills. Assembly (ARM), C and Java is a plus.
• Good responsibility and Team Spirit
• Excellent English language skills to work effectively with global development teams.
Desired:
• Familiar with one or more modules: NAND, SD, USB, AUDIO...etc.
• Experience in Android platform or applications
• Familiar with ARM architecture, MMU configuration and cache operations.
• Good knowledge of hardware components.
